Product Description
A fall fashion hit… this eco-handbag is made of 100% wild hemp that is handwoven on a pit loom in the foothills of the remote western himalayan mountains. The hemp is harvested by hand and then seperated into a twine and woven into a fabric that is 17 inches wide by 9 feelt long. The fabric is then dyed, cut and sewn into this naturally beautiful design. The patches on the front are designed to have a rough and frayed edge and the large pockets on the side reinforce the sustainable and socially responsible style. The side pockets use a magnetic button closure for easy access. This is a roomy, open bag with lots of interior space. The bag measures 16" wide by 10" high and is 6" deep. There is a thin, firm panel on the bottom that helps the bag retain it's shape. The top has a nice, heavy duty zipper and the inside is lined with black cotton fabric. Inside there is a zipper pocket and an open pocket. On the back side, there is a large zipper pocket. As with all items from Earth Divas, this handbag is made by a fairtrade group out of Kathmandu, Nepal and is made with only natural fiber materials.
